Dorado beach is perhaps 5 mins from the village. It has more activities than the main beach including pedal boats, jet skis, a “pitch and put”, acroflight, plus a Kids Club where the children could be left to be entertained.

A little further along is the new marina (probably now the biggest in the Canaries). It is host to a vast number of impressive yachts. There are also a number of restaurants and shops here (a little more expensive than the prom though) plus a number of interesting activities.

There is a dive school, a sailing school (dinghies can be hired from here), Sunsail have a centre (yachts for training and for charter), plus large catamaran (for day trips) and submarines (for viewing the aquatic life).
